Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park and Top of the Falls
You depart early from Kampala or Entebbe and drive north towards Murchison Falls National Park. The journey passes through rural towns and open countryside, with an optional stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking.
Upon arrival, you head to the Top of the Falls, where the Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge before plunging down with immense force. The roaring water and rising mist create one of Uganda’s most iconic scenes.
You continue to your lodge for check-in, relaxation, and dinner.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Nile Boat Safari
You start early with a morning game drive in the northern sector of the park. This area offers excellent sightings of lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and various antelope species. The open savannah provides clear views, making it ideal for photography.
After the drive, you return to the lodge for lunch and rest. In the afternoon, you enjoy a boat safari along the Nile towards the base of Murchison Falls. The riverbanks are alive with hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and birdlife.
You return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, you begin your journey south towards Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is a long but scenic drive that takes you through changing landscapes, from savannah plains to rolling hills and crater regions.
You arrive in the park in the evening and proceed to your lodge for check-in and relaxation. The shift in scenery introduces a new phase of your safari, with diverse habitats that support a wide range of wildlife.

Day 4: Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Safari
You head out early for a game drive in the Kasenyi plains, an area known for lions, elephants, buffaloes, and antelope species such as Uganda kobs. The plains offer excellent wildlife viewing, especially in the morning hours.
In the afternoon, you enjoy a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. The channel attracts one of the highest concentrations of hippos in Africa, along with crocodiles, elephants, and a variety of bird species along the shores.
You return to the lodge for your final evening in the park.

Day 5: Return to Kampala or Entebbe
