Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park and Top of the Falls

You depart early from Kampala or Entebbe and drive north towards Murchison Falls National Park. The journey passes through rural countryside with an optional stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking.

Upon arrival, you visit the Top of the Falls, where the Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge before plunging down with immense force. The viewpoint offers one of the most dramatic natural scenes in Uganda.

You proceed to your lodge for relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Nile Boat Safari

You begin the day with an early morning game drive in the northern sector of the park. Expect sightings of lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and various antelope species across the open savannah.

In the afternoon, you enjoy a boat safari on the Nile towards the base of the falls. The riverbanks are rich with hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and birdlife, creating one of the most rewarding wildlife experiences in Uganda.

You return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, you begin your journey southwest towards Kibale Forest National Park, known as the primate capital of East Africa. The drive takes you through scenic landscapes, tea plantations, and rolling hills.

You arrive in the afternoon and check in at your lodge near the forest.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Wetland Walk
